Pricing

Our service consists of two price elements:

1. A set-up fee of €75.  For this we create the protected pdf, and add it to our database.  Included in the set-up fee, you as author receive 3 licenses for personal use.

2. A royalty of 20% of your sales price, with a minimum of €2.50 per eBook sold.

Example #1:

Dr. Alison Wonderland publishes her thesis on mixing technology.  She set a sales price of €20 and sells 125 books.
Revenues: 125 x  €20 = €2,500
Set-up fee: €75
Royalties: 20% x €2,500 = €500
Net income to the author: €1,925

Example #2
:

Joe Sixpack publishes his book on optimising Adwords.  He set a sales price of €80 and sells 4,000 books.
Revenues: 4,000 x  €80 = €320,000
Set-up fee: €75
Royalties: 20% x €320,000 = €64,000
Net income to the author: €255,925

Example #3
:

Sue Purmann publishes her book on advanced data visualization techniques with Microsoft Excel.  She set an aggressive sales price of €9 and sells 1,200 books.

Set-up fee: €75
Royalties: 1,200 x €2.50 = €3,000
Net income to the author: €7,775

Example #4:

Anne Troppenoer wrote a business plan around her invention on a novel solar cell technology, and wants to be sure that the distribution is controlled and that she can revoke access rights at any time.   She doesn't charge the third parties she sends it too, of course.  Therefore, she sets a price of €2.50 to account for royalties, and purchases herself a license each time she needs one for a third party.  In total she sends it to 32 people (venture capitalists, researchers for review, banks) and for her protection she pays the set-up fee of €75 and royalties of 32 x €2.50 = €80, or with the current numbers slightly over €5.00 per business plan.

Example #5:

ProSafety Training has a training for risk assesment on machinery, and wish to combine that with an update service for their documentation 4x per year.  With EUReBOOKs they can create a protected eBook without having to worry that the book is forwarded to people who haven't paid for the training.  The price is €250 per year per person.  Annually, about 400 people are trained.
Revenues: 400 x  €250 = €100,000
Set-up fee: 4 x €75 (for each update)
Royalties: 400 x €50 = €20,000
Net income to the author: €79,700
